Your mission

The PETER DÖHLE Schiffahrts-KG is a provider of global maritime services with roots in Hamburg and home ports all over the world. We see ourselves as a company group rich in tradition yet future-oriented, providing tailor-made solutions for the entire shipping industry.
To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time, we are looking for a Crew Superintendent (m/f/d).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Independent monitoring and planning of all crew activities for the assigned vessels
Central contact person for captains, manning agencies, fleet operators and ship owners
Key account for customers with vessels in Döhle crew management
Crew planning for officers and ratings, ensuring appropriate qualifications in accordance with STCW, the flag state and the ship owner
Processing and approval of invoices
Planning, instructing and coordinating crew changes
Career planning and selection of promotion candidates
Accompaniment and follow-up of P&I cases on board

Your profile

Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship (ideally shipping or tourism related)
Preferably experience background in shipping and crew management business
Fluent written and spoken business English
Intercultural competence
Distinctive systematic approach and effective communication skills
Well-founded user knowledge in MS Office

Die PETER DÖHLE Schiffahrts-KG ist ein maritimer Dienstleister mit Wurzeln in Hamburg und Heimathäfen auf der ganzen Welt. Wir verstehen uns als traditionsreiche und zugleich zukunftsorientierte Firmengruppe, die maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für die gesamte Schifffahrtsindustrie bereithält. Zur Verstärkung unseres Crewing Teams suchen wir Sie zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt als Crew Superintendent (m/w/d).

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortungsbereiche:

Eigenverantwortliche Überwachung und Planung aller Besatzungsaktivitäten für die zugewiesenen Schiffe
Zentraler Ansprechpartner für Kapitäne, Manning Agencies, Fleet Operators und Reedereien
Key Account für Kunden mit Schiffen im Döhle Crewmanagement
Crewplanung für Offiziere und Mannschaften, Sicherstellung der entsprechenden Qualifikationen gemäß STCW, Flaggenstaat und Reederei
Bearbeitung und Freigabe von Rechnungen
Planung, Einweisung und Koordination von Crewwechseln
Laufbahnplanung und Auswahl von Beförderungskandidaten
Betreuung und Nachverfolgung von P&I-Fällen an Bord

Ihr Profil

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung (idealerweise im Bereich Schifffahrt oder Tourismus)
Vorzugsweise Erfahrung im Bereich Schifffahrt und Crew Management
Verhandlungssicheres Englisch in Wort und Schrift
Interkulturelle Kompetenz
Ausgeprägte systematische Arbeitsweise und Kommunikationsstärke
Fundierte Anwenderkenntnisse in MS Office
