Your mission

Assistance and support in the review and revision of ship designs and specifications
Assistance and support in checking drawings for new construction projects
Development and support of retrofit and efficiency projects in the sailing fleet
Liaising with classification societies, flag state administrations and regulatory authorities
Negotiating specifications, system drawings or 3D reviews in the newbuilding yards in collaboration with the head of department and/or representatives of the owners
Reporting to the Head of Newbuilding & Projects and the responsible project manager

Your profile

Students studying shipbuilding and marine technology
good communication skills with fluency in English and German
Good negotiating skills and the ability to adapt to different mentalities in the international shipbuilding market
familiarity with common MS-Office applications

Ihre Aufgaben

Assistenz und Unterstützung bei der Überprüfung und Überarbeitung von Schiffsentwürfen und Spezifikationen
Assistenz und Unterstützung bei der Zeichnungsprüfung der Neubauprojekte
Entwicklung und Begleitung von Retrofit- und Effizienzprojekten in der fahrenden Flotte
Kontaktaufnahme mit Klassifikationsgesellschaften, Flaggenstaatverwaltungen und Regulierungsbehörden
Verhandlung von Spezifikationen, Systemzeichnungen oder 3D-Reviews in den Neubauwerften in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Abteilungsleiter und/oder Vertretern der Eigner
Reporting an den Head of Newbuilding & Projects und den verantwortichen Projektmanager

Ihr Profil

Studenten im Studium Schiffbau und Meerestechnik
gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit fließenden Englisch- und Deutschkenntnissen
gutes Verhandlungsgeschick und die Fähigkeit, sich auf unterschiedliche Mentalitäten auf dem internationalen Schiffbaumarkt einzustellen
Umgang mit gängigen Office Anwendungen
