To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time, we are looking for an Accountant Crew Claims (m/f/d).

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
.

Manage end-to-end P&I crew claims, including case setup, documentation and ongoing monitoring throughout the claim lifecycle
Coordinate with manning agencies, crew superintendents, medical providers, P&I Clubs and correspondents to ensure timely and accurate information flow
Administer and verify sick wages, entitlements, and medical updates as well as their maintenance of accurate records in CFM and related systems
Maintain, verify, and reconcile P&I expense sheets and invoices, and prepare documentation for P&I Club reimbursement
Oversee financial accuracy of all claim-related costs and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Your profile

Previous experience in crew accounting, crew management or insurance claims
Solid understanding of P&I processes
Experience in working with international stakeholders
Distinctive systematic approach and effective communication skills
Fluent written and spoken business English
Good German Skills are nice-to-have
